FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

IS THIS A HAUNTED HOUSE?

I mean, most would call it that. But we think “Immersive Horror” is next level. This is a more sublime horror experience.  It is highly theatrical.  There are characters and there's a story, and you are an important character in that story.  As creative enterprises go, there are haunted houses and then there are immersive theatrical horror experiences.  We think the latter is scarier.

IS THIS OPEN RAIN OR SHINE?

Yes, the event is indoors

OKAY, SO IS IT SCARY?

YES.  We'd like for you to be thinking about this for the rest of your life, not just for the second someone pops out at you.

DO WE GO IN ALONE?

No, you go in as a group of 8 maximum, but could be less. If you have a group larger than 8 people we would prefer dividing you up, but if you are, say, 9 or 10 people we warn you that it is too many people to scare everyone. You will miss things and you will feel cramped. But if you insist…it’s your money. If we do divide you up then, yes, you will be going in with strangers.

HOW LONG WILL WE WAIT?

Now this is a tricky one. Your tickets are for an hour slot. That doesn’t mean you personally command that entire hour. You will not be walking in right at your scheduled ticket time. If you buy an 8 pm ticket, that means you will be going through between 8-9 pm. But that’s on a night where we are running perfectly. That’s easier to do on slower nights (usually Thursdays and Sundays), but on busy nights, the slightest deviation starts throwing us behind. So you will very likely wait longer than that hour, probably 2 hours, but we absolutely keep it moving and do the best we can.

WHAT PHYSICAL RESTRICTIONS ARE THERE, IF ANY?

There are not many.  If there is anything you can't do, you can go around, but it is all one level surface and it doesn’t challenge you physically. Waiting to go in the house is a different story. It is handicap accessible, there is a ramp, but for other issues with walking and standing it may prove to be challenging. You do have to go down a flight of stairs, and you do have to wait in line and stand and walk a lot. We do, however, try and get people in with physical limitations as quickly as possible.

ARE THERE ANY AGE RESTRICTIONS?

Anyone 16 or younger requires a guardian. We don’t recommend the event for children under 12, but parents know their children’s capacity for scary stuff so we will let them make that decision. Just know, this isn’t designed with children in mind. Nothing graphic, but intense.

WILL I BE TOUCHED? HOW INTERACTIVE IS THIS?

That's not the thing here. Don’t touch the performers and they won’t touch you.  You will, however, be asked to complete a mission while in the experience. Participating makes the experience better.

CAN I CANCEL OR RESCHEDULE?

You can cancel up to 3 days before for a small fee, and reschedule up to 2 days for a small fee. After that there are no refunds or exchanges.

WHEN DO I SHOW UP?

Ideally you show up 10 minutes before your showtime on the day you purchased them for. Any more than 30 minutes after your show start time and you will not be allowed in.  Nor will you receive a refund.  You will have an hour slot, but you could go anytime during that hour depending on when you get there. If your start time is 8 pm, for example, we hope you go sometime between 8 and 8:59. But on busy nights, plan on being there for an hour longer than that. The time slots make it much better than other haunts, but it is still hard to be exact.

IF IT IS SOLD OUT ONLINE, CAN I STILL GET TICKETS AT THE BOX OFFICE?

No, sold out means sold out, and we truly cannot squeeze anyone else in. You will be disapointed if you try.

HOW LONG IS THE SHOW?

From start to finish approximately 30 minutes

WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR?

Be casual. You will be walking a fair amount, so wear sensible shoes.  Don't wear your expensive going out clothes because...why? Also, Halloween masks are not allowed nor any bulky costume pieces

DO YOU HAVE TICKETS YOU COULD MAIL US?

No, we only e-mail you your ticket confirmation.  Please bring it with you to the box office.

IS THERE PARKING AT THE VENUE?

Yep, there’s a lot of parking right at the venue for $10.

ANYTHING ELSE WE SHOULD KNOW?

There are lots of strobe lights and loud noises. If you are sensitive to those kinds of things, you shouldn’t come.
